good morning. take a look at the roadways right now. i want to start off with san jose. we have a very serious accident. northbound 87, connecting over towards one one or 280, weather. that ramp is shut down for an overnight accident. it was a fatal accident involving a motorcycle. it is completely shut down. you could use 11 instead as an alternate. no word yet as to when it will we open. we are not seeing a lot of delays in and around the area. they will reroute you through there. no delays there. pretty quiet as things looking good with no delays north 11 there. your drive times clear. the target, but left san francisco p3. the robbery happened yesterday in sure map. that is on california street. surveillance footage caught the thief right-handed.

he casually walks up to the register. >> he took the money and ran away. he knew how to open the cash register. >> nobody was hurt in the ordeal. they have been around for nearly 20 years. their income is used to help feed the homeless. an update on wednesday's hit and run in san francisco. police say they now identified the driver who hit three pedestrians. 62-year-old stephen has been charged with felony hit-and- run. police don't believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. they say he hit a pedestrian in the mission district and pinned him against the sides of a muni bus. that they say he drove onto the sidewalk and struck two more

all right, well, speaking of the day of love, we are looking at seasonal temps for this time of year. it is a cloudy start to go as well. as we head through the afternoon, we are going to see more such i think it let's get a live look at our salesforce tower camera. you can see those clouds over the sky. our temperatures are running in the upper 40s to low 50s. attempted 24 hour temperature change. where we compared to yesterday. running about 11 degrees warmer compared to yesterday morning at this time. here's what you can expect. so cloudy and cool this morning as we head through the afternoon, we will catch some clearing as we go through the day. a little bit more sunshine in as we head later in the afternoon with those seasonal daytime highs. and it looks mild and dry for our weekend. we were looking at that weak weather system to our north and at this point, it probably won't even bring a few showers for the north bay on sunday.

so we're looking at the clouds, a little bit cooler on sunday. but still dry as we head through the next several days. so this low pressure system bringing that onshore flow starting off the day with the clouds once again. as we head through the afternoon, you can see some clearing as we go through our day. for tomorrow, looking at temperatures possibly a little bit warmer with a little more sunshine through your saturday. and as we look ahead to sunday this low pressure system is going to usher in stronger onshore flow, could even see breezier conditions and a few more clouds, a little bit cooler for sunday. here's what you can expect for today. we are looking at daytime highs, upper 50s in san francisco. low 60s in oakland. 63 in fremont. looking at 64 in concord and 65 for santa rosa. presidents' day monday, sunshine, seasonal daytime highs, upper 50s, low to mid 60s. here we go with that extended forecast. little more warmer. a little more sunshine. cloudy skies on sunday. eezy we. were going to start to see some

offshore winds kick in for us and that will continue into monday with plenty of sunshine all the way through next thursday. happy valentine's day, gianna. >> thank you, mary. happy valentine's day to you, too. if you're heading out the door early this morning. you got to take the bay bridge, you're good to go. here's a live look after the bay bridge, and it is pretty lightly traveled right now back into san francisco, no delays there. also some better news for that dry through the south bay. we had an overnight accident, unfortunately, it was a fatal accident. it was on a -- that has been cleared out of lanes. everything has now opened. traffic in the green which means good conditions on the freeways right now out of the south bay. not seeing any delays right now. northbound 87, you're going from 85 towards 101, that will only take you eight minutes. everything else is in the green with no delays. taking a look at 101, we do have a bit of a snag close to there on 92 westbound. right around -- it looks like it is definitely on the right

shoulder, not blocking any lanes, though. overall, an easy ride southbound from experience over towards 237. that only take you 80 minutes. here's a a live look at the nimitz freeway, northbound, taillights, past the coliseum, moving at a nice pace. and on the southbound side of 880 as well, from this portion all the way down into hayward, union city, fremont, into the south bay, no problems to report on the nimitz right now. san mateo bridge, it is looking pretty good. no delays between 880 and 101. back to you guys. it is a unique valentine's day for a marine corps veteran in stockton who is 104 years all. >> he is a purple heart recipient and he was helping to gather about 100 valentine's day cards to add to his scrapbook collection. well, word got out and he received more than 300,000 personal messages and thank you notes from all around the world. >> i was close to speechless.
